Temporary Disruption to VOIP services
One of our back-up processing systems incorrectly detected a primary system failure and initiated a failover. However, as the primary system was still operating, this caused a loop, meaning that outbound calls using that routing to failed. This would mainly have affected certain UK landline and mobile destinations. RealityVOIP team.

Microsoft Scammers BEWARE !!!!!!
Recentley we have had a few reports from customers and friends about a telephone SCAM by persons pretending to be from Microsoft.
The idea behind the call is to convince you to allow them access to your PC. Laptop or even your Server by Remote Access. The telephone call goes something like this (names have been changed)
Caller: Hello my name is Bob I'm calling you from Microsoft regarding a serious Virus outbreak in your 'Area' (sometimes say Postcode) if you will allow us, we can show you on your PC where the virus is hiding, we can do this quite quickly remotely. Callee: Oh dear, is this really that serious? Caller: Yes if you go to this website we can initiate a session that allows us to check your PC for you.
The first thing wrong with this is Microsoft 100% would never call you regarding a virus. How do they know who you are?, How did they get your telephone number? Viruses don't work in postcodes, unless your PC has the flu.
The reason behing this type of call is fraudulent, a scheme devised with criminal intent. What would they gain?
This is a very serious problem that could lead to Identity theft, criminal damages and at worst it could close a business down.
Please be warned, Microsoft do not call people about viruses, unless you have called them, and even then they are reluctant..
